Rockuity lets event hosts create a page where guests make AI songs, upload photos and videos, leave notes, and use voice input. This explains what we collect and how it's used.
What we collect
- Account info (hosts): email, password (stored hashed), or Google sign-in.
- Event content: songs, lyrics, photos, videos, voice recordings used for transcription, guestbook notes, RSVPs, and reactions - submitted by hosts and guests.
- Basic technical data: a device identifier and IP address, used to prevent abuse and rate-limit generation.
How it's used
- To power the event experience you see (generating songs, displaying media, voting, the reveal).
- Voice clips are used only to transcribe what you said into a song and are not used for anything else.
- Uploaded photos and videos may be analyzed for scenes and mood (e.g. beach, outdoors, cozy, formal) so the songs we make for your event reflect the life you're actually celebrating. We never identify individual people, and we never infer race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, age, or gender from your photos.
- To protect the service from abuse, and to process payments (via Stripe - we never store card numbers).
Who controls an event
Each event is controlled by its host. The host can approve, remove, or delete any content, and can delete the entire event - which permanently removes all of its songs, photos, videos, voice clips, and notes from our servers.
Your choices & removal
Guests can ask the host to remove their contribution, or contact us at [email protected]. Hosts can delete an event and everything in it from the dashboard at any time. After an event's active window ends, the page sunsets and content is taken down on a normal timeline; the host's downloadable keepsake is theirs to keep.
Sharing
We don't sell your data. We use service providers (e.g. Stripe for payments, SendGrid for email) only to operate Rockuity.
